This is a keychain universal TV remote control. It's really neat, I love mine. I keep mine near my coaster on the end table. It takes up very little space and its always handy for muting commercials.
Carried on your keys, it's great to mute or change the channel on TVs in public places. Careful using it in a sports bar during a big game though. Hehe. ;)
This remote is supposed to work with something like 85% of all TVs. It does not work with EVERY TV.
This remote will be white or black, whichever is available, sorry but no choice on color.

I tried setting it up how the directions say, and it didn't work.
What I did was aim it at a TV that was already on, then I held down the mute button until the TV muted, then very quickly I released and pushed the mute button again.
You might try that to program it, I think it might be a misprint on the printed instructions, because it didn't work for me.
